Creating a second home for Senior Veterans that is comfortable and secure was the endeavor of this creative and efficiently organized project.  This one story facility includes 220 skilled nursing beds in three nursing wings with programs for Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, dental and medical clinics, administration, food service and maintenance. During Master Planning, sensitive approaches to endangered species and plantings were utilized to minimize disruption. The Veteran’s Home maximizes the use of daylight while providing a low maintenance environment with around the clock security without sacrificing the comforts of home
